Silk, silk, silk... An old tradition, an exclusive product, and a lifestyle centuries ago. During this tour you will visit the area where silk workers lived and produced in the past centuries, you will hear and learn about silk itself and about its role in Lyon's history. This tour brings you back to an other world and at the same time introduces you to the wonders of nature's and humans' interaction. Silk is not only an expensive fabric, there is a lot more to it and your guide will show that to you. You will see an original, operational Jaquard loom and a workshop where silk painting is still handmade.

And of course Lyon is not Lyon without its secret passageways. You guide will take you to some of these amazing structures.
